Getting Started Breastfeeding

Get what you need to start your lactation journey with confidence.

This class will equip you & your partner with all the information you need to prepare for breastfeeding your newborn in an interactive, non-judgmental, and supportive small group class environment.

Along with evidence-based information, demonstrations with real-life supplies will be provided and questions are encouraged throughout. We're here to support you in feeling confident and at ease as you prepare to start your lactation journey.

You can expect to learn about: the benefits of breastfeeding, what breastfeeding looks like in the first few weeks & beyond, tips for a successful start, milk supply & milk storage guidelines, breastfeeding positions, navigating hunger cues, pumping tips & flange fitting, red flags, partner support, and weaning.
