“We loved hosting our daughter's birthday parties at Whole Heart Space when she was little. We love the feeling of an 'at-home' party but our house doesn't have enough space for all of the kids to run around and with a January birthday we were stuck indoors. One year we had Miss Anne come and do a music class and the following year we had Jonathan the Juggler perform a magic show. Rachel and her team at WHS were so easy to work with and our guests loved seeing and learning about the yoga studio and its community.” - Sheri R
“We threw a party for our son’s third birthday and being able to use the studio was lovely from start to finish. It was so special that my son was already apart of the Whole Heart Space community so the entire experience was super comfortable for him — like a home away from home. Being familiar with the space made our hosting job exponentially easier for many reason (like knowing where the rest rooms are, where to get water & what the space looked like when planning out decorations).
There are already so many successful Whole Heart Space events hosted in this space so it was a guarantee that everything we needed was going to be there. Having extra tables and chairs was great and being able to access the kitchen as a staging area (as well as the sink & refrigerator) made all the difference with party food. Clean up was super simple thanks to the dumpster access and because it is a relatively low traffic zone in the evenings load up our car was a breeze.
Overall it is no surprise that hosting an event at Whole Heart Space was seamless because Rachel has created an environment that caters to the needs of so many — that energy carried over to our event and I got to take the credit for “thinking of everything”!
(A additional small bonus: Chianti is an Italian Restaurant a few shops over and we were able to get great pizza that was a crowd pleaser — no need to even leave the Gayton Crossing shopping center!)” - Abby B.
“Whole Heart Space is SO important to our family, and we couldn’t have been happier with how hosting Cairo’s First Rodeo went!!
Having a space that could accommodate our families AND the babies made for an stress-free event. We could mingle with guests knowing the space was totally baby proof and baby friendly. There was ample room for the adults to chill and the babies to play.
Rachel was very responsive when it came to communicating about the event! I emailed her the morning of about coming earlier to set up, and within 10 minutes she had gotten back to me! Taylor K.’s help during the event was similarly wonderful. She helped us set up and clean up, plus answered any questions that came up. After the event, I had a few guests remark, unprompted, that she was SO kind and helpful!!
